Why DHH IEP Advocacy Services Matters

Navigating the special education system can be overwhelming, especially for families of Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children with disabilities or other developmental needs. DHH autistic students often fall through the cracks of special education because systems are not built to fully address both deaf/hard of hearing and autism needs together, even though these learners have clear legal rights to effective communication.
